A v3 charger can almost certainly go beyond 250kW with software updates. The chargers from v2 and beyond are just collections of charger modules that combine to add up to 150 or 250kW. So given the description of the v3 system, it seems entirely believable that they can configure more modules to provide faster charging speeds.
